In March 2004, Jorhat wake up to a new dawn. They saw their then very popular leader in coaching - Guidance, launching a Senior Secondary School titled as Abhigyan Academy. As the name denotes, it is a journey towards the eternity of wisdom and enlightenment. The college has been ceaselessly striving to provide holistic education based on conceptual learning and thereby bring forth the best amongst the students. Even before the onset of New Education policy 2020, Abhigyan was providing interest based programmes to the students that included vocational learning, creative exercise, experiential learning, value system, competitive career orientation etc.

Curriculum doesn't mean only the bookesh knowledge. It is the experience acquired by the students inside and outside of the classroom within the stipulated time.
